Steps to Keep Your Heat On

If you do lose heat, there’s no need to panic. Read on for some quick and easy tips to get your heat up and running again.

Check Your Thermostat. The first thing to do is make sure the batteries in your thermostat are working. If they are, make sure the thermostat is switched to heat and that the temperature is higher than the temperature outside.
Check All Switches. Make sure the emergency furnace switches, fuses, and circuit breakers are all switched to the “on” position.
Verify Your Fuel Level. Check your propane tank gauge to make sure you have propane in your tank. If you’re on empty, call Prism Propane right away at (877) 977-7476 to refill your tank and restart your system.
